You may be asking yourself why should I become a brand partner of Vemma. For me the answer was quite simple. I wanted an opportunity to earn money from home to free my family from financial bondage and experience financial freedom, to be a blessing to my church, to give my wife the choice to work or not, to see my kids graduate from college debt free, to meet the needs of my extended family, and to establish a business my wife and I could enjoy together and pass on to future generations.
I wanted to start a home based business that gave me the flexibility to continue working at my job and build a home based business at the same time. In economic times likes these, people need security…I needed security. I wasn’t willing to give up my job to venture out into the unknown. I had too much at stake…my family, bills, my ability to give to my church, and my lifestyle. Vemma afforded me the opportunity to continue to work for my employer and build my business in my spare time.
Vemma is not my first attempt at network marketing. To be honest I failed in my last opportunity, but I learned some very important lessons along the way. The first company I teamed up with stopped their network marketing opportunity and decided to sell products solely from their website. I learned that I needed to find a solid company that has been around for at least five years. I wasn’t aware so many companies fail within their first five years in business. My second opportunity was a great company, but I couldn’t get anything started. I setup websites. I attended my sponsors training sessions. I purchased marketing materials. I purchased the products, and used many of them, but I also racked up thousands of dollars in debt. I hope you caught that last statement. I literally maxed out one of my credit cards and had high balances on two others. I had nothing but debt to show for my efforts. But what I gained was experience.
Then one day the phone rang. The gentleman on the other end of the phone told me he was calling to see if I would be interested in checking out Vemma. At first I wasn’t sure what to say. I wanted to to say no and thank him for calling, but I didn’t. I listened to what he had to say. As he was talking, I was thinking about my other attempts in starting a home based business, and I thought here I go again. But what caught my attention was when he told me he was also a member of the first company, the one that discontinued their network marketing operations, and he had build a huge business with them only to be told that they where closing the door on him, as well. He told me that he saw one of my websites and wanted to know if I was involved in an opportunity at that time. I told him that I was and he asked me a question that made me stop and think. He asked me how I was doing in that opportunity. I told him I was doing fine and I like their products (in reality I had hundreds of dollars of products collecting dust). Our conversation lasted only a few minutes long, but I could tell he was passionate about this company. His passion is what sparked my interest in Vemma.
